Located just opposite the quay with its stunning seafood restaurant (also the perfect place for crabbing!) and within easy walking distance to the village shop and two great pubs.
The entrance hall leads into the open-plan sitting room with water views from the lounge as well as from the dining area. The heart of the house, this room has a comfortable sofa and chairs with TV, DVD and stereo and a raised dining area with French doors to the patio. The cosy window seat is the perfect place to daydream or read a book and watch the comings and goings on the quay as the local fishing boats land their catch. Feel free to pop across and purchase fish and shellfish straight from the fishing boats, as visiting yachts sail peacefully along the Penryn River and out to Falmouth Bay.
In the galley style kitchen, though small, you will find that every culinary need has been catered for. Everything is within reach and the appliances are top quality branded products. Outside is a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, also perfect for storing beach and surf gear.
Upstairs the master bedroom with offers guests the perfect place to watch the water, all from the comfort of your bed or from the window seat! The second bedroom with twin single beds is towards the rear of the property. Very much a children’s room, the third bedroom with bunk beds has water views, and is decorated in a fun, nautical theme. Luxury bedding and quality mattresses throughout ensure a good night’s sleep is had by all.
The newly fitted bathroom has a separate bath, shower and WC.
Clottage is much loved by its owners and benefits from regular updating and decoration which shows in its thoughtful touches and attention to detail.
The cottage has the benefit of an allocated parking space on the nearby quay. Due to its proximity to the water we can arrange a mooring and boat-hire if required. WiFi is also included for those wishing to keep in touch and share the charm of this beautiful house and village.
One small well-behaved dog is welcome, but only outside of peak-season periods. A highchair and travel-cot can be provided for smaller guests.
