The Point was built by the well known architect Cecil Burns in 1927 who had been convalescing in Falmouth after the First World War. Its position on the headland in Flushing offers unrivalled views across the water towards Falmouth and out to St Anthony’s lighthouse. The Point will make any holiday one to be remembered for years to come.

The Point sleeps six in three bedrooms, with the benefit of an additional double sofa bed for occasional use. The master bedroom has a large double bed and is a pretty room with dual aspect views. The second bedroom has twin beds, whilst the third bedroom has a double bed. All three bedrooms enjoy southerly views across the bay.

There are two lounges – the more traditional of the two has a wood burning stove and bay windows with double doors onto a terrace, the perfect spot for al-fresco dining. The second lounge is a later addition to the property and has two comfortable sofas, one of which converts to a double bed for occasional use. Both rooms have televisions.

The sunny dining room is a real feature. Circular in shape, the views towards Falmouth are quite simply mesmerising and many hours can be spent watching the comings and goings in the busy harbour from here.

The modern kitchen is spacious, with a breakfast bar and all modern appliances, including double fan assisted oven, fridge / freezer and dishwasher. A side door leads into the pretty terraced garden and a patio that is ideal for breakfast, lunch or elevenses.

The Point benefits from two bathrooms – one is newly fitted with a huge walk in glass-walled shower cubicle, while the second retains the original roll-top bath. There is also an additional wc.

Quality bed linen and towels are provided.

The gardens are a particular feature at The Point. To the side of the property is a secluded terraced area perfect for al-fresco dining. The upper area of the garden is laid to lawn and leads down to a decked area with wonderful views across the bay and out to sea. Further private steps lead down to an area of secluded beach. There is even a mooring for those who choose to arrive by boat!

There is ample parking outside the house and on the driveway.

Complimentary WiFi access is available.

Well behaved dogs are welcome at The Point.
